Our Mild Steel Connecting Rod is manufactured from high-quality mild steel bar of 12mm diameter and 3 meter length, precision threaded on both ends for reliable coupling. The rod undergoes an electro galvanizing process which deposits a uniform zinc coating on the surface, offering strong protection against rust and corrosion when used in borewell and underground water conditions. Each rod is fitted with a hexagonal coupling that ensures a tight, non-rotating joint between successive rod lengths, preventing loosening during the reciprocating motion of the hand pump. This connecting rod is designed to transmit the up-and-down pumping stroke from the handle assembly to the piston/cylinder assembly at the base of the borewell, and is compatible with India Mark II and India Mark III hand pumps as well as other standard deep well hand pump systems.
