Specifications
Description
This is our main Riser Pipe, manufactured in Galvanized Iron (G.I.) Medium class, sized at 32mm Nominal Bore and 3 meters in length. The pipe is hot-dip galvanized to provide a durable protective coating against rust and corrosion during long-term submersion in borewell water. It features a socket at one end, allowing successive pipe lengths to be threaded and joined together to form a continuous rising main from the pump head down to the required borewell depth. As the primary conduit of the hand pump system, the riser pipe carries water upward from the underground cylinder assembly to the pump head at surface level with each pumping stroke. Its medium wall thickness offers a balance of strength and weight suitable for standard installation depths, making it a reliable and widely used choice for community hand pumps, India Mark II and India Mark III installations, and general borewell water lifting applications.
